Initially, we started producing and selling hybrid seeds such as cotton, castor beans, pearl millet, improved varieties of wheat, pulses and sesame seeds. A close and critical look at the quality aspects of these seeds has been a major driving force behind the brand name. In a short span of 4 decades, Avani Seeds have become very popular among farmers in Gujarat. Marketing was then expanded to neighboring states such as Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Madhya and Pradesh.
The company was originally registered as Avani enterprise in Ahmedabad (Gujarat) in 1983 and later changed to Avani Seeds Pvt. Ltd. In 1993 and finally in 1995 it changed into Avani Seeds Ltd. Today, we have 40 years of success and established brands among farmers in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana.
